She'd gotten her usual call that morning from Mr Lumage requesting she deal with a victor that had recently gotten out of hand. Zara rolled her eyes, she was expecting something a little more exciting that a meager punch in the face - but she was told to get creative and so when she heard who it was, a sinister smile creept upon her face. Aine. She was quite a recent victor, which meant she was still in the news every now and then - but she supposed Circe was the brand new focus now, and people were already started to get bored of her. It was never enough for these people. Zara told him she'd handle the situation, and hung up the phone. Sitting there for a good fifteen minutes, planning out what exactly she was going to do with poor Aine.

Zara didn't always do her dirty work in person. There was a lot of pride and joy in the role she took upon, but she was definitely a busy women. Zara didn't have time for such mundane tasks as merely abducting a district five victor. There was no real risk in that, and she highly doubted even her men could mess that one up. She had numerous accomplices that took on some of the work... for a price, of course, and they were individuals she had met and conversed with over her years in victor handling. It was surprising the amount of contacts one could make in such a field.... Much of the actual business with the victors she was present for, but if it was just for the simple matter of retrieving them, then she'd send her men off to take them - with a set list of instructions.

She took out a pen and wrote her list for them to follow - god knows they'd be sure to find a way to fuck it up:

1. Bribe an Avox covering district 5's apartments to spike Aine's drink with a sleeping potion, and instruct them to give you a signal when she's down.

2. Yes, the potion is provided (Check the bag I've given the both of you)

3. Yes... you can make up what the damn signal is...

4. Wait in the hallway of the fifth floor of apartments

5. Once the signal has been given, enter the apartments and take her - make sure it's the right person you're taking this time... - hide her somehow, in a bag, with a disguise, I don't really care.

6. Take her to the underground, room 7.

7. On the table, there will be straitjacket, undress her and secure her in just that.

8. Leave and lock the door behind you.

Think you can handle that? Call me when it's done.

Z

Zara had gotten the call later that day. Low and behold the two witless wonders had actually managed it, thank fuck for that! She abruptly left The Looking Glass without a moments notice, and took the town car towards the underground. She was looking forward to seeing Aine's reaction when she woke up - Zara just hoped she'd get there in time to witness it in person.

Aine was not having a good evening. Amethyst was dead. She had been killed by the girl from One. And Lumen wasn't doing very well at all. She couldn't even manage to drum up any sponsorship money for the boy who was so close to death's doors. There was nothing that she could do but sit in the apartment and watch as the boy slipped away from starvation and dehydration. Maybe it wasn't the worst way to go? Maybe he would just slip away peacefully? She doubted it.

Though, she couldn't look away from the screen. She gestured to one of the avoxes, asking for something to drink so that she didn't have to leave the screen. Normally she would have just gotten it herself, but she wanted to be there for every second so that her tribute wasn't completely alone. Even if she wasn't actually there, at least he wouldn't slip away without anyone being there to mourn his death.

The drink was brought to her and she thanked the avox, pressing the drink to her lips. It was fruity and sweet, maybe a little overly sweet... But Aine drank it anyway. What else could she do? She was about half way through it when she began to yawn. Her eyes got heavy. She didn't put it together. Instead, she just kept drinking until the beverage was gone and she placed it on the table in front of her a little too heavily, her arms suddenly feeling heavy.

The screen was beginning to blur as she stared at it and she blinked, hoping to clear the fog from her mind and help her to focus. It didn't help. She was growing more and more tired... Things were getting more and more confusing. And then there was nothing.

When she began to wake up she immediately knew that something was wrong. She felt like she couldn't move. She couldn't move at all. Her eyes were still so heavy from being drugged but she forced them open as she tried to figure out what was going on. Then when she was finally able to take in her surroundings she realized that she was no longer in the apartment... She was somewhere else completely. Her heart began to race as she tried once again to move, to get her arms free. It was no use. She looked down to find that she was wrapped in some sort of straight jacket.

This was far from the first times that she had worn such a thing... But it wasn't ever a pleasant experience and she began pulling at her arms, desperate to get free. ”Help! Someone help me!” She screamed, her throat was dry and she had no idea if anyone would help her but she knew that she had to get out of here. She needed to be free.

The town car felt like a second home to Zara Van Allen, seeing as she was in it so often. She'd change drivers every now and then to avoid patterns - but generally she kept with the same car. The windows were blacked-out, and absolutely no one would be able to look inside of it. Although, they'd be able to follow her if they tried hard enough. No one in the Capitol seemed to care enough to keep track of where every car was going, though. She sunk into its plush leather seats, and popped open her purse to dig around for her phone. They were handy devices, and pretty much everyone in the Capitol had their own. She had plenty of contacts too, though it was mostly used for business, rather than pleasure. She proceeded to send a short, to-the-point text to Mr Lumage, informing him that Aine had been successfully captured, and that she was on her way to greet the victor presently. Zara had her own way of dealing with the victors, and whilst they did not always follow "protocol", she found them to be very effective.

The car pulled downwards into the familiar spiral. She'd all but memorised the journey by the way the car jolted her body from side to side. She could certainly tell if she were to be taken on any other route. Once the car came to a halt, Zara clicked her phone to lock, and placed it back in her purse. She pulled the pair of shades up to the top of her head, and got out of the car. She was dressed in her "official" clothes, which was a long, sexy pencil skirt, fit with a bright pink blouse that accentuated her breasts, with matching heels to boot. Her hair was tied up in a high pony, and her lips painted in the exact shade her blouse was coloured. Co-ordination was key.

Zara made her way over to the bright white door, her feet clacking as her heels hit the concrete surface of the floor. The hallway was quiet as she entered - many of the rooms were sound proofed, which was probably for the best. Heaven forbid they have to listen to their ridiculous screaming all day and all night. She walked down the mainly corridor and made a right. On the left, rested a small sign that labelled the space "Room seven", and Zara grinned. She took out her device and pressed the button for room seven, and the white wall evolved into translucent glass. She was able to hear the girl now, but she wouldn't be able to hear Zara unless she wanted her to. She observed the girl as she slept, having been knocked out cold she realised it might take a little while for her to rise again.

Zara watched as the girl slowly awoke from whatever dream she'd been having, and observed her as she faced her new reality. She wriggled and squirmed, trying desperately to get out of the vice that had trapped her. Her pleas for help with short-lived, however, as Zara pressed the button for the microphone, she laughed down it - just a small chuckle in amusement, really - "honey, no one's here to hear you scream," she told her with a devilish smile.

Aine had no idea where she was... She had no idea how she had gotten here or if this was even real. Back when she had been in the Capitol hospitals after her victory, she had had so many nightmares. They had all seemed so real and they had often had to sedate her to get her to calm from them. They were always visions of others being ripped apart, or her allies turning on her and stabbing her in the back. This was a new one. Maybe it was the stress of the games and the fact that she had lost both of her tributes. That could be it, right? That had to be it! How else could she explain this? How else could she be dealing with this right now?

She was a victor... No one could harm her now. Right? That was what they had told her in the hospital. They had all told her that she was safe now. They had told her that no one could hurt her because she was under the Capitol's protection. As long as she did what they called for her to do and played the part that they wanted her to play then she would be safe. And hadn't she done that? She had mentored and let them dress her up for public appearances. But then she had screwed up. The guy she had slapped came to mind and she began to panic all over again. Was this punishment for that?!?

The leather straps were too tight around her wrists, her ankles. The one around her abdomen made her feel like she couldn't breathe. This was real! She had yelled out for someone to help her, for someone to save her. But as luck would have it, she was at their mercy. It seemed to her that the only person who could hear her was the one who talked through the speakers set up in the room. The voice was a bit metallic because of the intercom system but she could hear the way the speaker laughed. The woman on the other side was enjoying this.

Aine struggled a bit more, trying her hardest to get herself free from her restraints but she had no luck. ”Let me go! I didn't do anything!” It was a lie but she would say anything to get herself free from this newfound hell. She had to get out of here. Her breathing was becoming labored as she panicked, there was no way out! The walls were closing in on her. She could feel them even if she couldn't see them moving. Maybe they were just moving so slowly that she couldn't follow the movement. Or maybe her eyes were playing tricks on her. But she knew that they were closing in on her. Everything in her screamed at her that she had to get out of there or she would be crushed. But she couldn't move an inch. She couldn't get free! She continued to struggle against her bindings. ”Please!” She was gasping for breath now as she managed to get out the single word that she hoped might bring her help.

There was something sweet about panic, how it often came within a few seconds and felt as if it'd last a lifetime. Zara wished she could capture it somehow, and store it in a bottle to make it last forever. In her mind, she held her own personal collection of fear, shame and pain. This moment... this is one that would remain ingrained in her mind, like all of the others before it. Her eyes bore through the glass screen as she observed the woman's intensifying reactions. She watched as she squirmed, and struggled to breathe...she watched as protested against the restraints. Zara pursed her lips and tutted, "come now, Aine, we both know that's not true..." Zara responded. They all say the same things. They all deny their actions - when would they learn?

No matter how many times she'd come into contact with the victors, they all produced the same habits. Irrational behaviours, lashing out at authority figures and capitolites, refusal to follow procedures and protocols... the list went on. Zara was expected to whip them into shape, often through fear, sometimes through persuasion...there were a variety of techniques she could go through and use but of course, she had her favourites.

Aine would be easier than most, though, given her extensive history in the capitol. She'd heard all the stories, and now she was putting them into use. "Please and thank-you's won't work with me, Ms. Geo. Now, you know why you're here, I'm sure? Why don't you take a wild guess..."

Come now, Aine, we both know that's not true... The voice taunted her through the speaker. She still didn't know who the voice belonged to. And her panic was far too strong for her to even be able to fathom what she had done to deserve this. Had she really been such a horrible person that she had deserved to be tied down like this and tortured? Was this how she would die?

She continued to struggle. No, this couldn't be how she died! She had already fought for her life. She had killed people so that she could live, even if she couldn't even remember most of it. They had promised her safety and a comfortable life if she had won, though. Had that all been a lie too? It wouldn't surprise her. Though, she then remembered the night before when she had met that man in the mentor lounge... The man she had slapped. Was that what this was about?

”That man in the lounge... Did he hire you to bring me here?” Her speech was broken by sobs and she stumbled over a couple of them as she tried to keep herself together. Maybe if she just calmed down and let her know that this was just a misunderstanding then they could get passed all of this, they could forget it ever happened. Aine knew that she would actually never forget it, but it was a nice thought. ”He... He tried to kiss me. I was just defending myself!” Because, wasn't that what anyone would do in such a situation? Maybe this woman would see it was all an honest mistake and take her back to her room.

They both lived in a dark world with many evil minds at the top of the food chain. As much as Zara would love to keep up that "we'll provide you with safety and riches" act the Capitol liked to insue, that harsh reality said something entirely different. People could buy anything nowadays, whether it be a dancer on the poles, or their worst enemy murdered in the dead of night. It happened. It's happened before, and it'll happen again. Much of the time, victors were the centre of attention - the Capitolites adored them, and they always would. As long as they stayed young, and beautiful... they would be desired.

"I know this is our first point of contact, Aine, so let me make myself clear... you do not ask questions. That's rule number one." Zara said firmly, taking control over this little situation. It wasn't directly true, either, for the man she'd assaulted didn't himself raise this complaint... but there were always watchers on the walls - cameras observing your every move. Of course, the punch was noticed and, by the worst kinds of people.

With a hand on her hip, Zara took a deep breath. "If there's one thing you must take away from today, is that you Aine, are the property of the Capitol. You do not get to say no..." And at the push of a button, Zara sent an electric current racing through AIne's body - she was connected to something that emmitted a signal out... sending a searing pain across her nerves. It died down for a few moments, "When we say jump, you jump. When we say speak, you speak. Get the picture? If someone here in the Capitol wants to... i don't know, kiss you, touch you in any way? You will not refuse. Got it?" Zara asked, before sending out another current just for good measure.

The voice was coming through the tinny speakers once again. It was most definitely feminine but she couldn't place a face or a name with the voice. And the woman who was speaking soon confirmed that Aine didn't know her. That this was the first time they had ever come into contact. Why was this woman doing this to her? Surely it couldn't be because of that one little slap... She was a victor. The Capitol was supposed to love her, they were supposed to keep her safe, they were supposed to idolize her. That was the promise they had all heard when the reapings came around. They all had a chance of being reaped and killed... But the one who came out on top wouldn't ever have to worry about their own safety again. They would be rich beyond belief and most of all, they would be safe. And this did not feel safe.

The woman reprimanded her for asking questions, telling her that not asking them was rule number one. So, how was she supposed to find out what was going on? Her whole body shook despite the fact that she could barely move with the tightness of the restraints that held her down. The woman then told her that she was not her own person any more. She was the Capitol's property still and she had to do whatever they wished of her. She was about to argue, to tell the woman that she wouldn't give up what little dignity she had left. All coherent thoughts and anything she might have wanted to say stopped when the pain hit her. Her body jolted painfully and she gasped at the pain. It was a quick jolt but it was enough to cause tears to form in her eyes and a whimper to leave her lips.

She was gasping for breath, trying to slow her heart, trying not to break all over again when the woman began speaking. She was laying down the rules but Aine could barely even comprehend what she was saying. No, she was back in the arena but instead of things playing out the way they had during her games, she was being held down and tortured by the careers. She could almost see the girl from Two standing over her with a knife as the woman's words came from her mouth. She whimpered again as the apparition explained to her that she would not refuse anything that the Capitol citizens wanted to do to her. She had no choices. She was theirs. Then the apparition stabbed the knife into her and the searing pain spread through her once more. Though, it was really the same electrical jolt she had felt before.

By the time the current stopped this time, she could see the careers standing around her, she could feel herself bleeding out on the ground. Only, it was all in her head. She whimpered again as she spoke softly, sadly. ”Please... Just kill me.” She spoke looking around her the best that she could, it would probably be pretty obvious that she had broken a bit from this, that her mind wasn't all there. Instead, she was just a kid again back in the arena and begging the careers that only she could see to put her out of her misery.

With each surge of electricity, Zara had felt an overwhelming send of power and domination of this victor girl. She'd never met Aine, yet she was having the most amount of fun with her than she'd had in a long while. The girl had a history - at the very least, and playing around with the victor's mental health was surely one of Zara's favourite past times. Unethical as it may be...

She watched intently as the girl writhed inside her straight jacket, unable to move her arms outwards in the slightest. Otherwise, the girl was completely naked, and that alone was an interesting sight for Zara. Each victor was different from the other - and she'd dealt with them in marginally differing ways. With the lower districts, she agreed that fear was the obvious solution. For the most part, they were all so fragile and broken.. it never took much to break them down to where she wanted them to be. For the career districts... things were a little different. If she had to converse with them it would be on a more "official" level - unless absolutely necessary. She and Circe, at the very least, had become friends. Well, if you could call it that - perhaps they just had a mutual respect for the other.

Please... Just kill me.

Those words escaped her mouth in a soft voice, followed by a series of whimpering. The girl was on the edge a breakdown here and Zara merely smiled as she spoke again. "No... I'm not here to kill you Aine," She said clearly, "Your death will not be any time soon, I can assure you of that," she told her, letting that sit for a moment.

Where Aine was concerned, it didn’t take a whole lot to mess with her mind. She lived her life on a precarious ledge that bordered a slippery slope that ended in insanity. And she knew it. There was no doubt in Aine’s mind that she wasn’t right since she had left the arena. Like she had left a big piece of herself behind in there. And that piece was far more necessary for her own sanity than she would have ever guessed. It didn’t take much to push her over the edge. Which is where she found herself right now.

Ghosts of the careers surrounded her and in her panic she couldn’t even remember that they were no longer alive. She didn’t even realize that this couldn’t be real. All she could think of was the pain as another jolt went through her body. The aftershocks of the electricity coursing through every muscle in her body was just as painful as the jolt itself. By the second shock, she was a quivering whimpering mess. She was begging for death.

The sound from the speakers in the room still seemed to come from the mouths of the careers as they stood around her. She jumped as the hallucinations poked at her with their spears and swords despite the fact that she couldn’t actually move and there wasn’t actually any one there to poke at her. She was still alone but she felt like she was surrounded. Her breathing was labored, sobbing beginning to leave her throat that was already raw from screaming for someone to let her go.

Her tormentor told her that she wasn’t going to be killed...Not any time soon. Aine almost wished that weren’t the truth. She couldn’t find it in her to be happy that she wouldn’t be dying today. She actually would much rather that the careers that she saw around her just ended her. ”Please! I don’t want to do this anymore. Please.” Because surely if she wouldn’t be killed soon that meant they were going to continue to torture her. They would continue to stab at her and shock her and just drag out her death. She couldn’t take the pain any more. Her whole body shook from the effects of the electricity and her own terror. And still, she was back in the arena instead of in this torture chamber surrounded by nothing but four walls.

Aine's screams were only fuelling Zara's intentions for her. She didn't want to keep her too long, but she was enjoying herself... Knowing the mad girl was spiraling back into deranged hole was practically a turn on for the devilish woman. Her bound state made her mouth water and her pussy throb with excitement. The cocked her head to the side as she observed the stirring girl. She was a pretty thing, despite her twisted and screwed mind. Zara felt that perhaps she was all the more attracted to her because of her messed up mind.

The crazies were always more entertaining for Z. She liked to poke and prod them until they broke down and cracked completely. She sent another subdued jolt of electricity through the girl's body. "Begging won't get you anywhere, Aine," Zara spat back at the girl through her microphone. "Say it." She said, needing an agreement.

And with another button press, one more stab of pain exerted towards the victor. "You will not resist," Zara ordered, her tone strict and to-the-point. She began to pace the length of the wall, her heels clicking upon the concrete floor delicately. The sound of her shoes echoed down the hallways, that was currently dead silent.

She would get the response she wanted from Aine, one way or another.
