"Ladies and gents, it is that time of year again. I know that you have all been waiting ever so patiently for the first set of odds to come out." She gave a wink straight to the camera. Mostly because she was highly seductive, and somewhat because it was sarcastic. Rosie knew full well the Capitolites were itching to start betting their money and the mentors were ready to launch their tributes based on the first set of odds that would be available. A moment felt like a lifetime as she waited for the first pair of tributes came up on the screen.

"Remember this is the only time I will do this by district, but we have the District One female, Antiope coming in with a harsh 1 in 30 chance. Could this have something to do with the Reaping scandal? I would bet on it. Let's hope through the events and interview she is able to claw her way back up... or this is a terrible start for our career babies." Her bottom lip was pouted outward as her finger scanned to the next.

It was the twins from Two. She grinned. "And we all know that D2 has had a great finale showing lately... probably a big reason these twins got a 1 in 20 chance each. They are the team to beat, I sense it." She put her finger to her nose. Rosalind didn't like to make predictions, that was Mirage's job, but she figured with a history like Two... it was about time they come out on top.

"Threes, blech. Average. But, what would one expect? 1 in 50 for the boy and 1 in 70 for the girl." She gave a shrug and passed over. Definitely more excited to get to the Fours.

"The Fours are also a good pair. The boy was strong and showy, just how we like them. He got a 1 in 20 to match the Twos. And then the girl, Haven, got a 1 in 30. We aren't quite sure why she can't try to be more showy. It has been confirmed that it was just a coincidence that her name was pulled from the bowl... maybe she will prove herself in the next few days."

"Honestly, most of you have probably turned off the television now. But, I will still give a quick rundown of the rest. D5 has an okay start with Amethyst at 1 in 60 chance. D6 is looking less drugged out than normal and maybe that is why they ended up with a girl with 1 in 55 and a boy with 1 in 45.

"Check back after the commercial break for the rest!"

"I know you are all dying to know the rest of the odds on the interesting pairs we have pulling up the rear of the districts. The Sevens, well this is for sure interesting. Did you see that girl smile? She probably would have gotten something lower, but that is a lot of confidence. Robyn with a 1 in 70 chance and the boy, Oren, with a 1 in 50 shot at the crown." Her finger swiped the stills of their reaping faces across the screen. Only to make the point about that smile that Robyn had plastered there... it was a different reaction than usual in Seven.

The next pair that was on the screen was another tiny blonde and then the tall skinny boy from Eight. "The girl's odds aren't even worth speaking about. And then the boy, well, pretty average odds of a 1 in 60." Rosie shrugged and swiped again revealing the District Nine tributes. "Another failure girl, bloodbath fodder for sure. And then we have Gage, who has another average odd. 1 in 55 chance there."

The second half was far less impressive than the first and it was showing on Rosie's face. She didn't really want to even bother with these tributes, but she had to. And then it was the District 10's faces. The girl already looking on her deathbed. "Falabella got a tragic 1 in 75, but it seems to fit and I'm sure you would all agree. And then we got a male who isn't going to be protecting anyone anytime soon. Fala got the short end of the stick there."

Rosalind swiped so fast that she had accidentally skipped the District Eleven tributes and went on to the pair from Twelve. "Raven and Griffin might be a strong pair to watch. They are both dark and appear confident enough. Just wait and see. Griffin got a 1 in 45 and Raven a 1 in 55... and those odds are surely to go up."

There was some commotion and then the screen popped back to the Elevens. "My bad." She laughed a bit and looked over. "Another worthless bloodbath fodder girl with a strong male who better make some other allies and go the distance with odds of 1 in 40."

"Welcome back! We have tallied the odds now that all the events are complete and the gamemaker sessions are today. Let's hope that the deliberation is quick so we can get those scores as soon as possible to reassess the odds. My lovely friends, we have a bit to talk about." Rosie scrolled through the pictures.

The first of which was the picture of the Head of Mutts. "All of the tributes succeeded against the mutts, HC better step up his game in the actual games. We want to see some blood." She grinned and slid it across to a picture of Kristoff. "These were great to review. Most succeeded in what was required, but some did fail - which definitely affected their odds. A few failed at the maze and of course, those fell in the standings. The maze was basically a mini arena." She laughed and moved on.

"Okay, okay. You are all waiting for the numbers ... and here they are!"

The lights rose on the set and revealed the dazzling television idol sitting on a stool. This way to show off more of her seductive body in a skintight charcoal grey sequinned dress. It was a purposeful number, but even Rosie didn't know that. Her bright teeth were the first thing to be noticed as she parted her deep maroon lips. "It's BLOODBATH DAY FOLKS!" It was the morning of the games. The tributes would be dropped into the arena at noon. This was the last odds to be locked in and would be good for the week.

"Here are the latest odds adjusted after the Gamemaker Scores were revealed last night. Ladies and Gents, this will be how you can determine who will win and who might lose. But, most importantly what kind of donations you may send your favorite tribute." Her finger tapped the screen that was still set up next to her as always. And it started to reveal the list.

"Not many surprises here. They went up if they got a 7 or 8 and higher. And down if they got a 6 or lower... with a few exceptions for some spectacular interviews or behind the scenes espionage." She flashed a grin again. "See you at Noon!"
    16 to 1 :: Antiope (D1)

"Good evening Beautiful People!" Rosie offered a wink to the screen and strolled on to the stage in the same charcoal colored dress that she was in earlier in the day. It had been a hint to all that were watching, she was wearing a very obvious color now that the mines had been revealed. "What do you think about the arena? Mysterious, right?" She looked towards the screen as though they were actually going to give her an answer back, but she was alone in her studio with just a cameraman and a few extra workers here and there. The rest of the Capitol was enjoying the first night of partying.

"Let's get down to business, ya?" Her finger swiped across the screen that was next to her. "Obvious tributes that moved up would be the Five that managed to kill six of the tributes in the arena. Antiope and Hurricane were no surprise. And neither was the fact that Aero was deadly. Then you have Raven and Eli who came out of no where to come up in the odds." She swiped the screen again.

"Some of the other movement was the good alliances, the lack of alliance, and the like. We all know that these types of deals can affect whether a tributes odds will be higher or lower. What will Haven do with the likes of a D8... sure he killed someone, but you are better than that girl." Rosalind pouted. She was known to like all of the careers and this break up of the pack so early was disappointing.

"A majority stayed the same. No one is going to win if they don't start figuring it out... who was waiting for a second bloodbath in the elevator or granite mine? Huh? This girl was super sad." She shook her head and scrolled through the last bit.

"Well, babies. Start praying for that poor Oren. That boy got the short end of the stick... he needs a pitty donation from some loving soul."
    12 to 1 :: Antiope (D1)
    16 to 1 :: Hurricane (D4)
    18 to 1 :: Aero (D11)
    30 to 1 :: Haven (D4)

"Another day and a couple dead tributes later... and we have the new Odds for your donating needs!" She grinned as her bright red lips parted. She was dressed up as a gem this time. Each day it was likely to mimic one of the mines in the games. Just like many of the other Capitolites enjoyed dressing up in the theme that the arena had to offer.

The faces of the Fours flashed on the screen. "We all know that one of the top districts is Four and well, they haven't failed to show off those skills. Hurricane and Haven have gone up in the ranks because of their kills. We also have Antiope from One who is currently attempting to gain herself another kill also. They have all moved up and rightfully so. Just because the Careers aren't in a pack... I guess doesn't mean they weren't still planning on being deadly." Rosie giggled and swiped the screen that was next to her.

"Some of the other notable moves would be the fact that Epoxy from Six has pulled out a massive sword from the Gem Mine. Making him much deadlier. " Her manicured nails pressed the screen and showed all the faces that stayed the same. They were the ones who hadn't incured injuries yet, but also didn't go out of their way to impress. They were merely comfortable. "And here is a group of forgettables... unless they manage to do something exciting Day Three."

Finally, there were a few that went down. "Zinaya, love, tell your girl to find Oren immediately or get back with the pack. If the kills on Day Two are any indication... going it alone is not a good idea." Robyn had just left, and insisted she be back. But, the Capitolites had their doubts given the tears.

"Make sure to send those donations and tell those tributes what you think of them! Until next time. And now back to the Antiope/Amethyst fight!" Rosalind blew a kiss to the screen and what was left was just the summary of scores that would be what the mentors were able to use to donate that next day.
    10 to 1 :: Antiope (D1)
    12 to 1 :: Hurricane (D4)
    18 to 1 :: Aero (D11)
    20 to 1 :: Haven (D4)

"Yawn. Yawn. Yawn. Let me tell you. There have been some epic fighting, but they weren't showing off their strength - until right now. And I know I am probably missing it to give to the details for Day Four as the anthem plays." Rosalind rolled her eyes. Despite all the fighting, there hadn't been a death on Day Three except for the one Antiope managed to get right after midnight. They were missing. They were doing baby hits. There wasn't much that was impressive.

"And those who weren't fighting, oi vey. They were even worse. Come on people. This is the Hunger Games. Can we see some action here?" She sighed. "Anyway, I will make this brief, we all want to see if Eli will make it out and who will win Haven or Antiope."

"So as you can see, not much has changed. Some alliances have strengthen and some wounds have made some things worse... but mostly the same. Le sigh." She pretended to yawn again and soon the screen was filled with the odds.
